FC Noah vs Ararat-Armenia - Cup

All eyes turn to the home ground on April 29, 2026 as FC Noah welcome Ararat-Armenia in a Cup encounter that promises tension, intrigue and no shortage of subplot. That coronation came from City's £116m summer signing Elliot Anderson - and has been hotly debated in the build-up to the Manchester derby Super Sunday showdown at Old Trafford, which you can watch live on Sky Sports.

Both camps will view the Cup meeting at the home ground as an opportunity to put a marker down, regardless of where they currently stand. FC Noah will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. The visitors will travel in the hope that a change of scene can spark a turnaround, whatever the form book says. He was sacked by Fiorentina after Che Adams' late goal for Torino left them bottom of the Serie A table with three defeats out of three.

How the two sides approach the contest strategically will be key. FC Noah will want to control proceedings in front of their own supporters, while Ararat-Armenia will back themselves to cause problems on the break. Tottenham have changed their approach and are spending big on players who already know the Premier League.

Neither side is short on individuals capable of tilting the balance, and the duel between the two squads' chief creators could prove particularly pivotal. Discipline at the back and sharpness in front of goal will likely tilt the balance one way or the other. He was the striker who arrived just when Wolves were rediscovering themselves.

The market has yet to form a strong view, and the contest looks genuinely difficult to call. A share of the spoils looks the most probable outcome, with neither side holding a decisive edge — a 1-1 draw feels like a fitting result. With the standings tight and form on the line, this is a fixture neither side will want to lose. It is understood that his next move is most likely to take him abroad - and potentially to the Premier League.
