A fascinating FA Trophy chapter awaits on September 12, 2026 when Whitstable Town take on Egham Town at the home ground — two sides with plenty to play for and everything to prove. K-League All-Stars v Manchester City: Confirmed line-ups as Maresca’s men face Korean test.

The standings add context to the occasion — Whitstable Town occupying 55th, Egham Town perched in 38th — and the gap between them shapes the narrative. Whitstable Town will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. The visitors will travel in the hope that a change of scene can spark a turnaround, whatever the form book says. The Nottingham Forest playmaker is not anticipated to leave the City Ground this summer, unless a substantial transfer fee is put on the table.

Without the market to lean on, the contest feels genuinely open — and the outcome may come down to which side handles the occasion better. On balance, Egham Town may just have enough to take all three points. A 1-2 away win would not be a shock. Whatever the outcome, the FA Trophy fixture promises a meaningful contest with real implications for both clubs. Harry Kane is the favourite to win the Ballon d’Or.
