Uherský Brod vs Artis - Cup

The history between Uherský Brod and Artis lends this Cup fixture an extra layer of spice, and when the two walk out at Orelský stadion on August 26, 2026, recent encounters will be on everyone's mind. The spectacle was once again on show ahead of Nice’s Europa League clash with AS Roma on Thursday, but what was supposed to be a display of power and pride quickly turned into a far more comical scene.

Both camps will view the Cup meeting at Orelský stadion as an opportunity to put a marker down, regardless of where they currently stand. Uherský Brod's recent form is difficult to quantify, but the occasion itself should bring the best out of them. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. Those who followed Morocco's recent World Cup campaign will recognise the name Ayyoub Bouaddi.

How the two sides approach the contest strategically will be key. Uherský Brod will want to control proceedings in front of their own supporters, while Artis will back themselves to cause problems on the break. His all-action approach did not just suit the demands of Luis Enrique, it appeared to have a transformative effect on those around him, setting new standards in the forward line.

Neither side is short on individuals capable of tilting the balance, and the duel between the two squads' chief creators could prove particularly pivotal. Set-piece specialists and aerial threats on both sides mean dead-ball situations could carry outsized importance. The agency Roc Nation are reportedly working on getting Real Madrid striker Endrick a transfer to the Premier League this summer.

The market has yet to form a strong view, and the contest looks genuinely difficult to call. Expect a tight, competitive affair that could easily end all square at 1-1. The result at Orelský stadion could resonate well beyond matchday in the Cup picture. England captain Harry Kane is likely to sign a new deal to extend his stay at Bayern Munich despite interest from Barcelona.
