Tuttocuoio vs Progresso - Serie D - Girone D

There is a notable edge to this Serie D - Girone D fixture. When Tuttocuoio meet Progresso at the home ground on April 2, 2026, both will sense an opportunity to land a telling blow. Josh Allen had an impressive first game at the Buffalo Bills’ new stadium in their second NFL fixture of the season.

There is plenty riding on this Serie D - Girone D encounter for Tuttocuoio and Progresso alike, and neither will want to leave the home ground empty-handed. Tuttocuoio will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. The midfielder faces a significant period on the sidelines after being stretchered off during Uruguay's 1-0 defeat to Spain in the recent FIFA World Cup.

Set-piece efficiency could prove the difference on the night. Both Tuttocuoio and Progresso have invested time in dead-ball situations this season, and a single corner or free-kick may settle it. His passing display at the World Cup was yet more evidence of his suitability for City and the possession-heavy style Maresca favours.

In fixtures as finely poised as this one, it often comes down to who holds their nerve in the big moments — and both camps have players who relish that responsibility. How each side deals with the other's danger men — and who takes their chances when they come — will be central to the outcome. Chelsea are inching close to selling Benoit Badiashile, with Napoli interested in loaning the central defender from the Blues.

Predictions are tricky when the sides are this evenly matched, and small margins — a moment of quality, a slice of luck — could decide it either way. With the sides so closely matched, a 1-1 stalemate looks the most likely way this one ends. Whatever the outcome, the Serie D - Girone D fixture promises a meaningful contest with real implications for both clubs. Fulham's Antonee Robinson could be one of those, who would likely be a cheaper alternative to Hall, who has just enjoyed a breakout season with the Magpies.
