Strommen vs Raufoss - 1. Division

The 1. Division returns to the home ground on August 26, 2026, where Strommen and Raufoss will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. He is said to have been described as 'highly compatible with United’s press-heavy, fast-transition system.' United and Arsenal are set to face competition from AC Milan and FC Porto.

The standings add context to the occasion — Strommen occupying 11th, Raufoss perched in 16th — and the gap between them shapes the narrative. Strommen have blown hot and cold, DWWWL across their last five and a win rate of 31.82% that leaves room for improvement. Raufoss have struggled to string results together away from home, WLLLL over their last five with a win rate of 27.27%. Their respective approaches this season have differed noticeably, and the tactical contrast could prove telling. It remains to be seen if Leeds will target a No 10 or a winger capable of playing inside now that Brandt is off the table.

Wing play is likely to be central to the contest. Strommen will look to stretch the pitch and isolate their wide attackers, while Raufoss must find a way to compress the space and choke the supply lines. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: "If I’m Manchester United right now, I say press the green button and buy him, take him, right now.

Star players on both sides will be eager to make their mark, and the individual duels across the pitch could go a long way to deciding the outcome. How each side deals with the other's danger men — and who takes their chances when they come — will be central to the outcome. Arsenal have signed midfielder Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle in a £75m transfer.

Without the market to lean on, the contest feels genuinely open — and the outcome may come down to which side handles the occasion better. On balance, Strommen look well-placed to claim all three points, and a 2-1 home win would not come as a surprise. With the standings tight and form on the line, this is a fixture neither side will want to lose. All I ever wanted to do was win a championship for the New York Giants.” Beckham Jr is likely to play in the Giants’ first preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings at MetLife Stadium next weekend.
