Sokol Zápy vs Slovan Liberec II - 3. liga - CFL B

A fascinating 3. liga - CFL B chapter awaits on June 6, 2026 when Sokol Zápy take on Slovan Liberec II at the home ground — two sides with plenty to play for and everything to prove. It has not been a daunting fixture list but there are signs that Mourinho has found a way to get the best from an increasingly stacked Madrid squad.

Both Sokol Zápy and Slovan Liberec II will be eager to build momentum when they meet in 3. liga - CFL B. Sokol Zápy will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. The visitors will travel in the hope that a change of scene can spark a turnaround, whatever the form book says. The 24-year-old finished first in one of Arsenal's big pre-season testing challenges - a 1.4km run at full pace.

The tactical subplot is compelling: Sokol Zápy favour a possession-based game built on patience and control, while Slovan Liberec II are happiest sitting deep and exploding forward on the counter — a classic contrast of philosophies. Schalke were third bottom for possession in winning the second tier, let alone facing Bayern.

Neither side is short on individuals capable of tilting the balance, and the duel between the two squads' chief creators could prove particularly pivotal. Set-piece specialists and aerial threats on both sides mean dead-ball situations could carry outsized importance. Radek Vitek signs for Middlesbrough from Manchester United Man United have shown interest in Igor Thiago but Brentford have no intention of selling the striker this summer, says TEAMtalk.

Without the market to lean on, the contest feels genuinely open — and the outcome may come down to which side handles the occasion better. A share of the spoils looks the most probable outcome, with neither side holding a decisive edge — a 1-1 draw feels like a fitting result. With positions in the 3. liga - CFL B table to defend and momentum to chase, neither side can afford to leave anything in the tank. The club are understood to favour a profile closer to Aurelien Tchouameni or a Premier League‑proven alternative rather than Manu Kone.
