Both Sholing and Folkestone Invicta will be eager to build momentum when they meet in Friendlies Clubs. The hosts will hope that the the home ground crowd can inspire a performance, whatever the numbers suggest. Folkestone Invicta will travel with intent, knowing that a positive result here could kick-start their campaign. If he finds a way of those three players gelling and playing together - making one of them run in beyond - then Chelsea will have a very good season.

Tactically, the contest promises a fascinating contrast. Sholing will look to impose their style on home soil, while Folkestone Invicta are likely to have ideas of their own about how to gain the upper hand. Speaking in his unveiling press conference on Thursday, he said: Bayern Munich had attempted to sign Benjamin Sesko ahead of Manchester United, but a deal proved too expensive, according to cfbayerninsider.

Neither side is short on individuals capable of tilting the balance, and the duel between the two squads' chief creators could prove particularly pivotal. Discipline at the back and sharpness in front of goal will likely tilt the balance one way or the other. Swansea moved to the top of the Sky Bet Championship after Stephen Eustaquio's first goal for the club earned a 2-1 victory at Lincoln at the ProAmpac Stadium.

With the sides closely matched, the outcome may well hinge on which team takes its chances on the day. Neither side holds a clear edge, and a 1-1 draw would be a fitting reflection of the balance between them. Whatever the outcome, the Friendlies Clubs fixture promises a meaningful contest with real implications for both clubs. A more central role appears likely given the sale of Youri Tielemans to Manchester United and the anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered by Amadou Onana at the World Cup.
