Shamiya vs Ittihad Al-Shorta - Division 1

The Division 1 returns to the home ground on October 8, 2026, where Shamiya and Ittihad Al-Shorta will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. Chelsea take on Serie A giants Juventus in Hong Kong this morning in the latest fixture on their pre-season tour of Asia.

The two sides arrive with plenty to prove, and the Division 1 contest at the home ground offers a chance to lay down a marker. The Germany club were said to be looking for an out-and-out striker to allow Harry Kane to play a deeper role, and made an approach for Sesko in 2024.

A 1-1 draw is easy to envisage. The ramifications of this result could ripple through the Division 1 standings for weeks to come, regardless of who comes out on top.
