Nafta vs Primorje - 1. SNL

Nafta prepare to host Primorje at the home ground on May 31, 2026, with both sides eager to assert their credentials and claim a result that could define their 1. SNL season. He is expected to miss the Community Shield game against Arsenal and the opening Premier League fixture of the season as a result.

Both camps will view the 1. SNL meeting at the home ground as an opportunity to put a marker down, regardless of where they currently stand. Nafta have been picking up results at a respectable clip, LW over their last five with a season win rate of 40%. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. Meanwhile, Paige Bueckers struggled to find her rhythm, going 5-for-13 for 15 points in the loss.

The tactical battle could prove decisive. Nafta may lean on their home advantage to dictate the tempo, but Primorje have shown they can be dangerous when allowed to play on their own terms. Andoni Iraola could not have been clearer about how he plans to change Liverpool when speaking in his opening press conference.

Neither side is short on individuals capable of tilting the balance, and the duel between the two squads' chief creators could prove particularly pivotal. The battle in midfield, where both sides look to control tempo, could prove the decisive arena. The Premier League champions have been looking for a new defender with William Saliba out for an extended period of time and Jurrien Timber also sidelined with a long-term groin problem.

Predicting an outright winner is no easy task given how little separates the two sides on paper. Neither side holds a clear edge, and a 2-2 draw would be a fitting reflection of the balance between them. With the standings tight and form on the line, this is a fixture neither side will want to lose. It is likely City adopt a more proactive pressing system higher up the pitch in order to exert territorial control on opponents.
