Mallorca II vs Sant Andreu - Friendlies Clubs

The Friendlies Clubs returns to the home ground on July 29, 2026, where Mallorca II and Sant Andreu will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. Just as was the case in the previous meeting between the teams in April of last year, when Emery's side gave them such a scare in the Champions League tie at Villa Park, PSG were hanging on at the end.

Both Mallorca II and Sant Andreu will be eager to build momentum when they meet in Friendlies Clubs. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. Sant Andreu's away form is hard to read, but they will arrive with the belief that they can trouble their hosts. Leeds will not improve on their third offer but have left it on the table in case Saints reconsider their position.

How the two sides approach the contest strategically will be key. Mallorca II will want to control proceedings in front of their own supporters, while Sant Andreu will back themselves to cause problems on the break. Few of Bouaddi's age possess such a rare blend of physicality off the ball, and poise and balance in possession.

In fixtures as finely poised as this one, it often comes down to who holds their nerve in the big moments — and both camps have players who relish that responsibility. Set-piece specialists and aerial threats on both sides mean dead-ball situations could carry outsized importance. Manchester United have been warned about selling Marcus Rashford to a Premier League rival this summer, as uncertainty remains over the forward's future.

The market has yet to form a strong view, and the contest looks genuinely difficult to call. Neither side holds a clear edge, and a 1-1 draw would be a fitting reflection of the balance between them. Whatever the outcome, the Friendlies Clubs fixture promises a meaningful contest with real implications for both clubs. It is understood that his next move is most likely to take him abroad - and potentially to the Premier League.
