Levante vs Albacete - Friendlies Clubs

A fascinating Friendlies Clubs chapter awaits on August 1, 2026 when Levante take on Albacete at the home ground — two sides with plenty to play for and everything to prove. The 25-year-old suffered the injury after an inadvertent clash with his own team-mate as he and Mathias Olivera both challenged for possession late in the first half.

There is plenty riding on this Friendlies Clubs encounter for Levante and Albacete alike, and neither will want to leave the home ground empty-handed. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. Albacete will travel with intent, knowing that a positive result here could kick-start their campaign. But Fuseini's equaliser leaves Burnley winless and bottom of the Championship, having failed to gain three points from a match Hayen had described beforehand as "must-win".

Individual moments of quality could tip the balance. Both sides possess players capable of producing something out of nothing, and a single flash of brilliance may be all that separates them. Discipline at the back and sharpness in front of goal will likely tilt the balance one way or the other. There is every reason to believe they will not just stop at just one new forward either.

A share of the spoils looks the most probable outcome, with neither side holding a decisive edge — a 1-1 draw feels like a fitting result. With the standings tight and form on the line, this is a fixture neither side will want to lose. All I ever wanted to do was win a championship for the New York Giants.” Beckham Jr is likely to play in the Giants’ first preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings at MetLife Stadium next weekend.
