Ivry vs Pontarlier - National 3 - Group F

A fascinating National 3 - Group F chapter awaits on April 18, 2026 when Ivry take on Pontarlier at Stade de Clerville — two sides with plenty to play for and everything to prove. There are just three weeks to go in the transfer window and City face more transfer questions than answers ahead of the new campaign.

Both Ivry and Pontarlier will be eager to build momentum when they meet in National 3 - Group F. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. The Saudi Pro League side have now placed a €45 million package on the table, while Watkins himself is understood to be open to making the move.

Stylistically, this is a compelling matchup. Ivry favour a patient, possession-based approach, whereas Pontarlier are at their most dangerous when allowed to hit quickly on the counter. It isn't clear yet that this will definitely be a winger, with Maresca and sporting director Hugo Viana flexible over their attack.

Neither side is short on individuals capable of tilting the balance, and the duel between the two squads' chief creators could prove particularly pivotal. The wide areas will be a key battleground, with full-backs and wingers on either side capable of swinging the contest one way or the other. Carlos Baleba looks to be staying with Brighton(Image: PA) Manchester United are unlikely to pursue Carlos Baleba any further this summer as a result of the Brighton midfielder picking up an ankle ligament injury.

With the sides closely matched, the outcome may well hinge on which team takes its chances on the day. Neither side holds a clear edge, and a 1-1 draw would be a fitting reflection of the balance between them. The result at Stade de Clerville could resonate well beyond matchday in the National 3 - Group F picture. The team currently most likely to win the 2026 WNBA Finals according to Opta.
