Fiorentina W vs Como W - Serie A Women

The Serie A Women returns to the home ground on May 3, 2026, where Fiorentina W and Como W will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. The 18‑year‑old midfielder featured off the bench in the Foxes’ Carabao Cup first‑round tie last weekend, but could still depart before the window closes.

There is plenty riding on this Serie A Women encounter for Fiorentina W and Como W alike, and neither will want to leave the home ground empty-handed. Fiorentina W's recent form is difficult to quantify, but the occasion itself should bring the best out of them. Como W will travel with intent, knowing that a positive result here could kick-start their campaign. Tim Sherwood makes his predictions for the new Premier League season, including who he thinks will make the top four in the table.

Tactically, the contest promises a fascinating contrast. Fiorentina W will look to impose their style on home soil, while Como W are likely to have ideas of their own about how to gain the upper hand. In attack, Brazilian forward Kaua Elias has emerged as a name of interest, with United scouts watching the Shakhtar Donetsk striker after his hat‑trick against Kudrivka on Monday.

Star players on both sides will be eager to make their mark, and the individual duels across the pitch could go a long way to deciding the outcome. Discipline at the back and sharpness in front of goal will likely tilt the balance one way or the other. Hull City are ready to fend off interest from Rangers and Cardiff to sign highly-rated Norwegian midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl - Mail Online.

The fixture has the feel of a coin-flip, and picking a winner with any conviction would require a braver pundit than most. The signals point towards a stalemate, with the two sides closely matched across form and standings. A 1-1 draw is easy to envisage. More than just three points is on the line at the home ground — this is a fixture that could shape the narrative of both clubs' seasons. Fulham's Antonee Robinson could be one of those, who would likely be a cheaper alternative to Hall, who has just enjoyed a breakout season with the Magpies.
