FC Krasnodar vs Baltika - Friendlies Clubs

The Friendlies Clubs returns to the home ground on July 19, 2026, where FC Krasnodar and Baltika will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. Manchester United play in Gothenburg on Saturday as they take on Paris-Saint Germain in their fourth pre-season fixture.

Form and standings can only tell part of the story when FC Krasnodar and Baltika cross paths in the Friendlies Clubs, and pride alone should guarantee a contest. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. Baltika will travel with intent, knowing that a positive result here could kick-start their campaign. The position of goalkeeper is vital in Fantasy Premier League.

The tactical subplot is compelling: FC Krasnodar favour a possession-based game built on patience and control, while Baltika are happiest sitting deep and exploding forward on the counter — a classic contrast of philosophies. A month before his death, he was also arrested in Arkansas on charges including possession of a controlled substance.

The fixture is likely to be shaped by its key performers, with creative midfielders and clinical finishers on both sides capable of turning the game in an instant. Whoever wins the individual duel between the two sides' chief playmakers is likely to dictate the rhythm and, ultimately, the destination of the points. Manchester City are currently in negotiations to sign Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi after his impressive World Cup displays.

The fixture has the feel of a coin-flip, and picking a winner with any conviction would require a braver pundit than most. With the sides so closely matched, a 1-1 stalemate looks the most likely way this one ends. The result at the home ground could resonate well beyond matchday in the Friendlies Clubs picture. The club are understood to favour a profile closer to Aurelien Tchouameni or a Premier League‑proven alternative rather than Manu Kone.
