Falkenbergs FF vs Landskrona BoIS - Friendlies Clubs

A fascinating Friendlies Clubs chapter awaits on July 11, 2026 when Falkenbergs FF take on Landskrona BoIS at the home ground — two sides with plenty to play for and everything to prove. The left-back was taken off in the final minutes against Everton with cramp, and was not risked for the Champions League clash vs Sabah on Thursday.

Both Falkenbergs FF and Landskrona BoIS will be eager to build momentum when they meet in Friendlies Clubs. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. Landskrona BoIS's away form is hard to read, but they will arrive with the belief that they can trouble their hosts. The midfielder faces a significant period on the sidelines after being stretchered off during Uruguay's 1-0 defeat to Spain in the recent FIFA World Cup.

The tactical subplot is compelling: Falkenbergs FF favour a possession-based game built on patience and control, while Landskrona BoIS are happiest sitting deep and exploding forward on the counter — a classic contrast of philosophies. Amad won possession in the PSG half before laying the ball off for Bryan Mbeumo to score.

Individual moments of quality could tip the balance. Both sides possess players capable of producing something out of nothing, and a single flash of brilliance may be all that separates them. Discipline at the back and sharpness in front of goal will likely tilt the balance one way or the other. But former Reds forward Teddy Sheringham believes Tielemans isn’t good enough to be the midfielder United needed.

The fixture has the feel of a coin-flip, and picking a winner with any conviction would require a braver pundit than most. Neither side holds a clear edge, and a 1-1 draw would be a fitting reflection of the balance between them. The result at the home ground could resonate well beyond matchday in the Friendlies Clubs picture. The team currently most likely to win the 2026 WNBA Finals according to Opta.
