Dijon vs UNFP - Friendlies Clubs

The Friendlies Clubs returns to the home ground on July 15, 2026, where Dijon and UNFP will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. There are just three weeks to go in the transfer window and City face more transfer questions than answers ahead of the new campaign.

Both Dijon and UNFP will be eager to build momentum when they meet in Friendlies Clubs. Dijon will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. The visitors will travel in the hope that a change of scene can spark a turnaround, whatever the form book says. Carrick has experimented with Noussair Mazraoui in that position but he seems to have fallen down the pecking order, as the less experienced Patrick Dorgu was preferred for the Manchester derby loss.

How the two sides approach the contest strategically will be key. Dijon will want to control proceedings in front of their own supporters, while UNFP will back themselves to cause problems on the break. Tottenham have changed their approach and are spending big on players who already know the Premier League.

In fixtures as finely poised as this one, it often comes down to who holds their nerve in the big moments — and both camps have players who relish that responsibility. Discipline at the back and sharpness in front of goal will likely tilt the balance one way or the other. He was only 18 years old when he scored his first Champions League goal for Benfica in a 4-3 win over Juventus.

Predictions are tricky when the sides are this evenly matched, and small margins — a moment of quality, a slice of luck — could decide it either way. Expect a tight, competitive affair that could easily end all square at 1-1. The ramifications of this result could ripple through the Friendlies Clubs standings for weeks to come, regardless of who comes out on top. The Spaniard heading to Barca all but rules out a midfield departure from the Bernabeu and thus United will likely have to look elsewhere.
