Chaco vs Hiska Nacional - Nacional B

The Nacional B returns to the home ground on September 20, 2026, where Chaco and Hiska Nacional will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. Chelsea could do with a morale-boosting win when they face AC Milan in Jakarta.

There is little to choose between Chaco and Hiska Nacional on paper, and the Nacional B encounter should reflect that balance. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. In his latest column, Paul Merson predicts the 2026/27 Premier League season at both ends of the table.

Wing play is likely to be central to the contest. Chaco will look to stretch the pitch and isolate their wide attackers, while Hiska Nacional must find a way to compress the space and choke the supply lines. And there are still question marks even in attack, where they have an abundance of supporting forwards including Mbeumo, Cunha and Amad Diallo, but only one out-and-out striker in Sesko.

Game-changers are scattered across both line-ups, and the contest may well be decided by which side's match-winners deliver on the day. Set-piece specialists and aerial threats on both sides mean dead-ball situations could carry outsized importance. Without the market to lean on, the contest feels genuinely open — and the outcome may come down to which side handles the occasion better. The signals point towards a stalemate, with the two sides closely matched across form and standings. A 1-1 draw is easy to envisage.
