Chaco vs 26 de Febrero - Nacional B

The Nacional B returns to the home ground on August 29, 2026, where Chaco and 26 de Febrero will lock horns in a contest that could shape their respective campaigns. The 74-year-old Hoops boss admitted that "it'll be a bit strange not having the (Celtic) fans in but I'm nervously and excitedly looking forward to it; it's a great fixture" and also spoke about the police visit.

There is plenty riding on this Nacional B encounter for Chaco and 26 de Febrero alike, and neither will want to leave the home ground empty-handed. Chaco will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. 26 de Febrero will travel with intent, knowing that a positive result here could kick-start their campaign. The position of goalkeeper is vital in Fantasy Premier League.

The tactical battle could prove decisive. Chaco may lean on their home advantage to dictate the tempo, but 26 de Febrero have shown they can be dangerous when allowed to play on their own terms. Few of Bouaddi's age possess such a rare blend of physicality off the ball, and poise and balance in possession.

Star players on both sides will be eager to make their mark, and the individual duels across the pitch could go a long way to deciding the outcome. Set-piece specialists and aerial threats on both sides mean dead-ball situations could carry outsized importance. Switzerland forward Amdouni bounced his far-post header into the net after goalkeeper Josh Vickers had flapped at a Lucas Pires corner.

The market has yet to form a strong view, and the contest looks genuinely difficult to call. With the sides so closely matched, a 1-1 stalemate looks the most likely way this one ends. The result at the home ground could resonate well beyond matchday in the Nacional B picture. Premier League chief executive Richard Masters says a verdict on the alleged charges against Manchester City "has taken longer than expected".
