Both Ceará U20 and Goiás U20 will be eager to build momentum when they meet in Copa do Brasil U20. Ceará U20's recent form is difficult to quantify, but the occasion itself should bring the best out of them. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. Man Utd have still accumulated the most points across the league since his return in January.

The tactical subplot is compelling: Ceará U20 favour a possession-based game built on patience and control, while Goiás U20 are happiest sitting deep and exploding forward on the counter — a classic contrast of philosophies. The winner came from a rare counter-attack by the new-look Spurs side, who defended well throughout with Andy Robertson making his first start and Jan Paul van Hecke on debut, as they battled to secure another win in pre-season.

The fixture is likely to be shaped by its key performers, with creative midfielders and clinical finishers on both sides capable of turning the game in an instant. The wide areas will be a key battleground, with full-backs and wingers on either side capable of swinging the contest one way or the other. Man Utd signed French striker Enzo Kana-Biyik last summer, but he was immediately sent on loan for 2025/2026.

The market has yet to form a strong view, and the contest looks genuinely difficult to call. Neither side holds a clear edge, and a 1-1 draw would be a fitting reflection of the balance between them. Whatever the outcome, the Copa do Brasil U20 fixture promises a meaningful contest with real implications for both clubs. The win over Liverpool was the first time the team had stepped onto the pitch since the news of the verdict broke.
