Beasain vs Valle Egüés - Friendlies Clubs

The history between Beasain and Valle Egüés lends this Friendlies Clubs fixture an extra layer of spice, and when the two walk out at the home ground on August 28, 2026, recent encounters will be on everyone's mind. Chelsea could do with a morale-boosting win when they face AC Milan in Jakarta.

There is little to choose between Beasain and Valle Egüés on paper, and the Friendlies Clubs encounter should reflect that balance. Beasain will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. But the Reds are still unsure about Bologna's asking price for the defender, who turned 28 in June and has less than 12 months to run on his contract at the Serie A side.

The tactical subplot is compelling: Beasain favour a possession-based game built on patience and control, while Valle Egüés are happiest sitting deep and exploding forward on the counter — a classic contrast of philosophies. In attack, Brazilian forward Kaua Elias has emerged as a name of interest, with United scouts watching the Shakhtar Donetsk striker after his hat‑trick against Kudrivka on Monday.

Game-changers are scattered across both line-ups, and the contest may well be decided by which side's match-winners deliver on the day. How each side deals with the other's danger men — and who takes their chances when they come — will be central to the outcome. Man United transfer dialogue 'still open' as two striker deals on the cards.

Predicting an outright winner is no easy task given how little separates the two sides on paper. Expect a tight, competitive affair that could easily end all square at 1-1. More than just three points is on the line at the home ground — this is a fixture that could shape the narrative of both clubs' seasons. Premier League chief executive Richard Masters says a verdict on the alleged charges against Manchester City "has taken longer than expected".
