Barcelona B vs Reddis - Friendlies Clubs

All eyes turn to the home ground on August 26, 2026 as Barcelona B welcome Reddis in a Friendlies Clubs encounter that promises tension, intrigue and no shortage of subplot. He is expected to miss the Community Shield game against Arsenal and the opening Premier League fixture of the season as a result.

There is plenty riding on this Friendlies Clubs encounter for Barcelona B and Reddis alike, and neither will want to leave the home ground empty-handed. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. That was the 3-2 loss to Manchester United in January of this year, which ended a 121-match run without letting in three goals.

Barcelona B will seek to win the ball high up the pitch and suffocate Reddis's build-up, while the visitors will aim to play through the pressure and exploit the spaces it leaves behind. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: "If I’m Manchester United right now, I say press the green button and buy him, take him, right now.

The fixture has the feel of a coin-flip, and picking a winner with any conviction would require a braver pundit than most. The signals point towards a stalemate, with the two sides closely matched across form and standings. A 1-1 draw is easy to envisage. The result at the home ground could resonate well beyond matchday in the Friendlies Clubs picture.
