Roeselare Daisel vs Lokeren-Temse - Friendlies Clubs

When Roeselare Daisel and Lokeren-Temse clash at the home ground on August 9, 2026, the stakes extend well beyond a single result — this is a Friendlies Clubs fixture that carries real weight for both clubs. Ferencvaros v Real Madrid: Confirmed line-ups for Mourinho’s latest pre-season clash.

There is little to choose between Roeselare Daisel and Lokeren-Temse on paper, and the Friendlies Clubs encounter should reflect that balance. The hosts will be looking to find their rhythm and put a run of results together. Lokeren-Temse's away form is hard to read, but they will arrive with the belief that they can trouble their hosts. Their 3-0 win over Nice takes them up to second spot in the fledgling Ligue 1 table.

Set-piece efficiency could prove the difference on the night. Both Roeselare Daisel and Lokeren-Temse have invested time in dead-ball situations this season, and a single corner or free-kick may settle it. Chelsea have been encouraged to consider a surprise move for Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana, with former Red Devils midfielder Quinton Fortune believing the Cameroon international could suit their style of football.

Game-changers are scattered across both line-ups, and the contest may well be decided by which side's match-winners deliver on the day. Discipline at the back and sharpness in front of goal will likely tilt the balance one way or the other. The 18-year-old winger came on in the second half of City's first pre-season game against Inter and was one of the standout players, looking sharp and going close to either scoring or assisting a goal on a number of occasions.

Predictions are tricky when the sides are this evenly matched, and small margins — a moment of quality, a slice of luck — could decide it either way. The signals point towards a stalemate, with the two sides closely matched across form and standings. A 1-1 draw is easy to envisage. Whatever the outcome, the Friendlies Clubs fixture promises a meaningful contest with real implications for both clubs. And Fonseca does not place too much weight on the decision of Roberto Martinez to omit him from the World Cup squad in favour of his Benfica team-mate Tomas Araujo.
