NK Domzale vs Primorje - 1. SNL

All eyes turn to Športni Park on April 4, 2026 as NK Domzale welcome Primorje in a 1. SNL encounter that promises tension, intrigue and no shortage of subplot. Catch up with all the action from Chelsea's pre-season clash with AC Milan.

Both NK Domzale and Primorje will be eager to build momentum when they meet in 1. SNL. NK Domzale will be keen to seize the initiative and build some momentum on home soil. The visitors will back themselves to cause problems and will not make the trip expecting an easy afternoon. The on-loan Southampton striker had scored on his debut for Auxerre in defeat last weekend but followed it up with the winning goal against Nice to earn his old boss Will Still his first points in the job.

The touchline duel between the two managers adds another layer of intrigue, with both likely to tweak their setups in search of a decisive edge. And his efficiency in possession will be helped by those whom he now shares a dressing room with, allowing a more progressive midfielder to develop akin to City's style.

Star players on both sides will be eager to make their mark, and the individual duels across the pitch could go a long way to deciding the outcome. Set-piece specialists and aerial threats on both sides mean dead-ball situations could carry outsized importance. Details have now been confirmed regarding the death of the Memphis Grizzlies forward, with authorities ruling it as accidental.

Predictions are tricky when the sides are this evenly matched, and small margins — a moment of quality, a slice of luck — could decide it either way. The signals point towards a stalemate, with the two sides closely matched across form and standings. A 1-1 draw is easy to envisage. The result at Športni Park could resonate well beyond matchday in the 1. SNL picture. And Fonseca does not place too much weight on the decision of Roberto Martinez to omit him from the World Cup squad in favour of his Benfica team-mate Tomas Araujo.
